Tierney Crushing and Transport (TCT) is a locally owned company based in St George QLD. TCT specialises in haulage of Quarry products, Production of Road Base materials and crushing of materials.
Tierney Crushing employs over 20 dedicated staff, experienced and qualified in areas of transport bulk haulage, crushing, diesel maintenance, First aid and CPR trained. The company hosts an extensive range of transport and earth moving equipment including; Western Star prime movers, Roadwest and Azmeb side tipping equipment, Caterpillar Excavators and front end loaders, with a various array of Power Screen and Pegson crushing equipment.
Quality and compliance is of great importance to the company and is portrayed though the certifications held. TCT is accredited with the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (now referred to as the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator) in three modules; Mass, Maintenance and Basic Fatigue Management. Tierney crushing also holds a Refrigerated Trading Authorisation with the Australian Refrigeration Council; with two employees currently holding a Handling License.
Tierney Crushing and Transport’s operations are run out of the St George Depot. This establishment houses the main offices, fatigue accommodation and workshop for maintenance and servicing requirements. Furthermore, TCT has portable accommodation facilities allowing employees to work on site if required.
The St George depot has the facilities and the past experience to accommodate the management of contracts situated out of the local area. With a close relationship between management and financial firms, the company has the ability to undertake projects of a substantial value.
